The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has urged all affiliated schools to register as NIOS examination centres for the upcoming NIOS Public Exams 2025 (October-November session). The initiative is aimed at conducting the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) examinations successfully.

The CBSE has said in its official notice that NIOS, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, conducts examinations for class 10th and 12th as well as vocational courses twice a year (April-May and October-November).

To make these examinations accessible and well-organised, the board has requested schools to act as examination centres.

"NIOS utilises the facilities and services of CBSE affiliated schools each year for its public examinations. With the support of the schools, the institution is able to conduct its examinations on time and successfully."

Registration Process for NIOS Exam Centre 2025

If a school wants to become an exam centre, follow the steps given below:

First of all visit the website exams.nios.ac.in.
Click on the 'Examination Centre' tab.
Select the 'Register Now' link.
Sign up as an exam centre by filling in the required information.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is India's largest open schooling system. Its aim is to educate students who cannot study in traditional schools.
