Eligibility Criteria

• The student should be studying in class 8th in the 2025-26 session in a school recognized by the Government of India / State Government.
• The student must be a resident of the same district where the JNV school is located.
• The date of birth should be between 1 May 2011 to 31 July 2013.

• Birth Certificate
• Residence Certificate
• Class 8th Certificate
• SC / ST Certificate (if applicable)
• Rural Area Study Certificate (if applicable)
• Passport Size Photo and Signature

How to Apply Online

• Visit the official website navodaya.gov.in.
• Click on the link “Class 9 Lateral Entry Admission 2026”.
• Fill the required information like name, date of birth, mobile number etc.
• Upload the documents and submit the application form.
