JNVST Class 9 Result

Students eagerly await the result of JNVST Class 9 Entrance Exam 2026 conducted by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). This exam is conducted for admission through lateral entry to limited vacant seats in class 9 in Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country.

JNVST Class 9 How to Check Result

Students can check their result on the official website of NVS or on the notice board of respective Navodaya Vidyalayas. Steps to check online:

• Visit the official website: https://navodaya.gov.in
• Click on the “Class 9 Lateral Entry Result 2026” link on the homepage.
• Fill in your roll number and date of birth.
• On clicking submit, your result will appear on the screen.
• Save the result in print or PDF for future reference.

JNVST Class 9 Selection Process

Selection in JNVST Class 9 is done solely on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam and reservation policy. The merit list is released district-wise.

Students selected in the merit list will be called for document verification.

Seats will be allotted as per availability and reservation categories (SC/ST/OBC/Divyang).

Documents required for document verification

After selection, take the original and photocopy of these documents with you:

• Admit Card
• Birth Certificate
• Marksheet of previous class
• Residence Certificate
• Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Passport size photo

Important Instructions

• Name appearing in the selection list is not a guarantee of final admission. Admission will be given only if all the documents are found to be correct.
• Reach for document verification on time, otherwise the seat may be given to someone else.
• If you had filled the form in two or more Navodaya Vidyalayas, then you will get selection in only one.
