The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the exam date for term 1 exam for minor and major subjects. Recently the date sheets for classes 10, 12 board exams have been released by the CBSE. The first-term board examinations for class 10 will commence from November 30, while the exams for class 12 are scheduled from December 1

As per the released date sheet of Minor subjects for classes 10 and 12, the exam will begin from November 17 and November 16 respectively. Term-1 board exams for Classes 10, 12 will be objective-type or MCQs tests of 90-minute duration and it will be conducted between 11:30 AM to 1 PM. 

Important Preparation Tips for CBSE 10th, 12th Exams 2021

  • The OMR sheets will be available for download from the Cloud (Through Internet). The Exam centres will receive the question papers in the morning of exam day the papers will be in the encrypted format. Exam will be held for a time frame of 90 minutes.
  • If there is any classroom work for the classes except classes 10 and 12 then it should be completed between 8:00 am to 11:00 am or 11:30 am. Once the exam is completed, the OMR sheets need to be submitted to the exam control room. In order to ace the exam and to be well versed with their pattern, revision is a must in the last 30 days. Students can practice and revise their learnings through Online Mock Tests.
  • The evaluation of the sheets will start from 1:30 pm. To keep the students safe the seating arrangement will be as per the COVID-19 Protocols, there must be 12 students in a single classroom.
  • For a centre’s strength of 500 there must be one observer and if the strength exceeds 500 then there must be two observers. The observers will be appointed directly by the City Coordinator and in case the city coordinator wishes then they can change the observers in between as per the needs.
  • Answers to the exam will be made available by 01:30 pm so that any subject teacher can easily check the exam in the OMR sheet. The evaluator needs to upload the number of correct answers on the portal.
  • In case, the student fills the wrong OMR Circle for an answer, they may cross that answer. An extra blank circle is given in the OMR sheet for each question. Students may write the correct option number in the given OMR extra circle, after crossing the wrong filled OMR Circle. 
  • The handwritten answer will be considered final if it doesn’t tally with a dark circle. So, students should have good practice on all the questions.
  • The students of classes 10 and 12 must appear for the term 1 exams conducted by CBSE since it will be counted in the final CBSE Result. The final result will be announced for both classes after conducting the term 2 exam. Which is scheduled in March-April 2022. Before that they need to be thorough with their CBSE Syllabus to ace the board exam.
