CBSE Signs 15 MoUs for Skill Education, Assessment, and Capacity Building; Details Inside

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken significant steps towards promoting Skill Education, Assessment, and Capacity Building of teachers by signing 15 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with leading organizations. These MOUs involve collaborations with renowned skill providers, including Atal Innovation Mission, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, and various sector skill councils, such as Apparel Made-Ups, Home Furnishing, Automotive, Sports, Logistics, and more.

The partnerships aim to equip students with diverse expertise and ensure access to quality infrastructure and exposure to emerging technologies. CBSE's collaboration with these organizations will also result in the development of skill modules, study materials for skill subjects, competitions/hackathons for students, and teacher training programs.

Additionally, the Central Square Foundation (CSF) will extend its support to CBSE in implementing SAFAL, a competency-based census assessment, for grades 3, 5, and 8 as per the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP). The CBSE, with the help of partners, will prepare high-quality competency-based assessments for SAFAL.

Moreover, Educational Initiatives Pvt. Ltd and Oxford University Press India will play a vital role in preparing training manuals for Competency Based Capacity Building Programme (CBP) for teachers in subjects like English, Maths, Science, and Social Science.

With these strategic partnerships, CBSE aims to revolutionize skill education, foster innovative teaching methods, and enhance the overall learning experience for students across India.
