This is chapter 9 of class 6th MP board, we can learn about data handling- recording of data, organisation of data, pictograph, interpretation of pictograph, bar graph, interpretation of bar graph, drawing a simple bar graph. Some examples and sums are also given to practise for the student. 

• Data Handling is a process in which we gather information, record the information and present the information through pictograph, bar graph etc. 
• Data is a collection of numbers gathered to give some information.
• Recording of data- it means to record the data or numbers in a proper organised way. 
• Organising of data- It is the act of classifying the and categorising the data accordingly to make it more presentable.
• Pictograph- It mainly presents the symbol for any word or phrase. It is mainly presented in the form of diagrams like for a boy we can show the picture of a boy. 
• Bar graph- It is said to be the pictorial representation of some data. It is basically presented in the form of vertical and horizontal rectangular bars.
