This chapter is basically for class 9th MP board. In the this chapter 10- circles we will learn the common definitions of circles, 

• A Circle is a plane which is a collection of many points in a curved way.
• The length of a complete circle is called circumference. 
• The region between the chord and either of its arches is called  segment.

Theorems-

1. Equal chords of the circle subtend equal angles at the centre.
2. If the angles subtended by the chords of the circle at the centre are equal, then the chords are equal.
3. The perpendicular from the centre of a circle bisects the chord.
4. The line drawn through the centre of a circle to bisect the chord is perpendicular to the chord.
5. There is only one circle passing through three given noncollinear points.
6. Equal chords of the circle are equal from the centre.
7. Equal chords from the centre of the circle are equal in length.
8. Angles in the same segment are equal.
9. If the sum of a pair of opposite angles of a quadrilateral is 180 degrees, the quadrilateral is cyclic.
