The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the CUET UG 2024 exam from May 15 to 18, adopting hybrid mode to accommodate 13.4 lakh students.

This year, the CUET exam will be conducted in 379 cities, including 26 locations outside India. The examination of 15 subjects will be conducted in OMR format at three times the examination centres.

CUET Dress Code for Female Candidates

Do’s:

Wear comfortable clothes.
Opt for half-sleeve dresses.
Keep foot accessories simple (low heels or slippers).

Don’ts:

Avoid scarves and headgear.
Refrain from using metallic or plastic hair accessories.
Avoid wearing earrings, nosepins, finger rings, and bangles.
Do not wear covered or full-sleeve clothes.
Mention the provision for frisking within a closed enclosure for women’s safety.

CUET Dress Code for Male Candidates

Do’s:
- Wear half-sleeve light-colored clothes.
- Choose slippers or sandals.
- Opt for slim-fit or elastic trousers.
Don’ts:
- Avoid wearing goggles, studs, or metallic items.
- Belts, wrist chains, and neck chains are not allowed.
- Full-sleeve shirts are prohibited.

Guidelines for Special Cases

Candidates with customary cultural or religious objects should arrive early (at least two hours before the exam) for trouble-free frisking.
Mention the consequences if suspected items violate the dress code.
