CUET UG 2023 Exam from May 29 in Manipur, Exam Centres to be Set Up in Srinagar, Important Notice Issued

UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar and National Testing Agency have released an important notice for CUET UG 2023 candidates, especially in the state of Manipur, Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand. NTA has stated that it would be conducting the CUET 2023 Exam in Manipur from May 29, 2023, onwards.

As per the official notice issued today, May 19, 2023 on cuet.samarth.ac.in and social media, the CUET Manipur exam has been schedule to be held from may 29, 2023 onwards. A total of 3,697 candidates will be appearing for the Common University Entrance Test from the northeastern state.

“Those candidates who may have got the Admit Card for 21 to 24 May 2023 or the City Intimation Slip for CUET (UG) – 2023 to be held between 25 to 28 May 2023 are required to contact NTA in case they want to change their City from Delhi, Guwahati, etc. to Imphal," read the official notice.

As far as Jammu and Kashmir is concerned, a total of 87,309 candidates have registered for the CUET Exam. 12 exam centres have been established across the union territory for the CUET UG Exam. NTA is also considering establishing a temporary exam centre in Srinagar to increase accessibility for candidates appearing for J&K.

For the state of Jharkhand, a total of 1,78,630 candidates have registered for the entrance exam. NTA has stated that despite submitting preferences, some of the candidates have been allotted a centre in the neighbouring states.

CUET UG 2023 is scheduled to begin from Sunday, May 21, 2023. The admit cards for the exams from May 21 to 24, 2023 will be released today on the official website. CUET UG Exam is expected to conclude in the first week of June. Keep a check here for the latest updates.
