CUET UG 2024 Registration Expected Soon; Check Pattern and Fees

National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon start the registration for Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024 on its official website cuet.samarth.ac.in. NTA will conduct the CUET 2024 exam in hybrid format from May 15 to 31 for admission to central and state institutions.

According to Indian Express, the CUET UG registration process for 2024 will start from tomorrow. However, the examination body has not yet released the official CUET UG 2024 registration date. Around 250 institutes across the country will admit students to various first year degree courses based on their CUET UG 2024 score.

University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman M Jagadish Kumar told PTI that the commission is working on conducting CUET UG 2024 with a large number of registrations in OMR format.
“This will help us select a larger number of schools as examination centres. This will ensure that students will find a center within their town or city and they will not have to travel to distant places."

According to PTI report, the duration of the exam is likely to be shorter as the agency is considering a hybrid method that includes OMR sheets as well as computer-based examination. The change will also ensure that most students get the opportunity to take the exam at a venue of their choice.

CUET UG 2024 Exam Pattern

CUET UG 2024 onwards exam will be held in hybrid mode. Subjects receiving maximum number of registrations will be held in OMR format. Aspirants will be able to choose a total of six CUET subjects Students can check the structure of CUET in terms of the number of questions in each section along with the exam duration.
