CUET UG 2025 : Application Process Starts – Check Exam Dates & How to Apply

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the CUET UG 2025 exam. Students can check the notification on the official website of CUET at cuet.nta.nic.in. Passing CUET UG is required for admission to most central, state, private and deemed universities across the country.

As per the schedule, the application process for CUET UG 2025 has started from March 1, 2025. Interested candidates can fill the application form till March 22, 2025. The examination fee has to be deposited by March 23.

Applicants can make changes in the registration form between March 24 and 26, 2025. It is a computer-based test, i.e. it will be conducted in CBT mode. Candidates will be able to appear for the exam for a maximum of five subjects.

The CUET UG exam is expected to be held from May 8 to June 1, 2025. There will be a total of 23 subjects in the exam. Some old subjects have been removed from CUET UG - 'Tourism', 'Legal Studies', 'Entrepreneurship', 'Teaching Aptitude', 'Fashion Studies' and 'Engineering Graphics'. All the required documents and fee payment must be made while registering on the official website.

CUET UG 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed the final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of NDA are eligible to apply.

🔹 Must have passed the 12th examination from a recognized state or central board, or

🔹 Must have passed the Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination from a recognized university or board, or

🔹 Have completed Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination, or

🔹 Diploma of minimum three years duration recognized by AICTE or State Board, or

🔹 Must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination conducted by NIOS with at least five subjects.

How to Apply for CUET UG 2025?

Step 1 — Visit the official website cuet.nta.nic.in to fill the CUET UG 2025 exam form.

Step 2 — Click on the CUET UG registration link 2025 appearing on the homepage and you will be redirected to a new page.

Step 3 — After registering for the CUET UG exam, log in to your account, fill the application form and pay the fee.

Step 4 — Click on Submit and download the confirmation page.

Step 5 — Take a printout of the CUET UG registration form for future reference.
