CUET UG Answer Key 2024 Expected Next Week: Possible Delay in UG Admissions

The CUET UG 2024 answer key is expected next week, potentially delaying undergraduate admissions at participating colleges, reports say. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been under scrutiny amid the NEET UG and UGC NET 2024 controversies. This year, 13.48 lakh candidates appeared for CUET UG 2024 in 379 cities, including 26 international locations.

According to a senior official quoted by the Indian Express, the CUET UG 2024 answer key will likely be released next week, with results following a week or 10 days later. However, the NTA CUET information bulletin states the result date as June 30.

The NTA conducted a CUET re-exam on May 29 for 1.52 lakh candidates in Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida, and Ghaziabad centers. The CUET UG 2024, the second-largest national-level entrance exam, was completed in 8 days this year, significantly shorter than last year's 34-day duration.

The recent NEET and UGC NET paper leaks have placed NTA under scrutiny, prompting the Ministry of Education to form a high-level committee to review the agency's operations. The cancellation of UGC NET 2024, intended for PhD admissions, has raised concerns among universities and students, potentially disrupting the academic calendar.

The CUET answer key will be available on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Students can challenge the answers within a specified period by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. The final CUET results 2024 will be based on the final answer key.
