CUET UG Exam 2025 : Exam Day Guidelines, Dress Code & List of Banned Items - Check Details Here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence CUET UG 2025 from tomorrow, May 13. The national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to undergraduate programmes will be held in multiple shifts till May 24.

The NTA has released a set of important guidelines for the exam day. All candidates are advised to review and follow these instructions to avoid any last-minute problems or disqualification.

Candidates appearing for the UG entrance exam must follow the CUET dress code. Candidates must ensure to carry the CUET hall ticket 2025 to the allotted exam centre. Candidates must avoid carrying any prohibited items to the exam centre.

CUET Exam Day Guidelines 2025

Below are the guidelines for CUET exam day that candidates must know before appearing for the entrance exam.

➤  Before leaving home for the CUET exam, candidates must ensure that they have all the mandatory documents like admit card and ID proof.

➤  Candidates are advised to reach the CUET UG exam centre 1-2 hours before the commencement of the entrance exam. One must also note that they will not be allowed to enter the CUET 2025 exam centre 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

➤  Candidates with benchmark disability (PWD) will be provided a compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of the exam.

➤  They must paste a recent photograph of themselves on the CUET admit card 2025.

➤  Candidates without the CUET admit card will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.

➤  Candidates must be very careful while marking any answer as there is a provision of negative marking in CUET.

CUET 2025 Dress Code: Important Guidelines

NTA has released the dress code for CUET UG 2025. All candidates must follow these guidelines for security checks and smooth conduct of the exam.

Don’ts:

• Avoid wearing jewellery, scarves, rubber bands, belts and full-sleeved clothes.
• Avoid hoodies, jackets, mehndi or tattoos.

Do’s:

• Wear light and comfortable clothes.
• Wear slippers or sandals with low heels.
• Candidates wearing religious attire are advised to arrive early.

CUET 2025 Dress Code: Special circumstances:

If a change in dress code is required due to medical reasons, seek permission from NTA.

List of Items to be Carried and Prohibited at CUET 2025 Exam Centre

Permitted Items:

1. Printed copy of CUET 2025 admit card
2. Self-declaration form
3. Any government or school ID
4. Transparent water bottle

Prohibited items:

1. Study material (paper, pencil, pen, calculator, writing material)
2. Communication devices (mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, pager)
3. Wallets, goggles, belts, handbags, caps
4. Wristwatches, cameras, bracelets, metal or jewellery
5. Water bottles, open or packed food items

Note: Candidates need to know that there will be no arrangement for keeping these items at the exam centre.
