CUET UG 2024 results are delayed. The National Testing Agency (NTA) was supposed to announce them by June 30, but they’ve pushed this back. The delay happened because there were problems with the answer key, and a retest had to be done. This has caused a lot of stress for students and confusion for universities, which is messing up the start of the new academic year.
👉CUET UG 2024 Admission Process
The NTA originally planned to release the CUET UG 2024 results by June 30. However, because of issues with the final answer key, a retest was held on July 19. The updated final answer key was shared recently.
More than 13.48 lakh students took the CUET UG exam from May 15 to 29. The test was held in 379 cities, including 26 outside India. It included paper tests on May 15, 16, 17, 18, and 29, and computer-based tests on May 21, 22, 24, and 29. The last retest was on July 19 for 1,000 students.

The updated answer key for CUET 2024 shows that 404 questions were removed from the offline test, and 59 questions were removed from the online test. Each correct answer gets 5 marks, while 1 mark is taken off for each wrong answer.
Students’ Concerns About the Delay
The delay in CUET results is worrying many students. One person on X (formerly Twitter) said: “Private universities are finishing their admissions. Students waiting for CUET results are losing hope.”
Another student asked Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan: “When will the CUET UG results be out? This delay is making the system look unreliable, and students are suffering.”
Some believe this delay is causing even more problems than the COVID-19 pandemic. Bharti Shahi wrote: “The delay in CUET UG 2024 is worse than the pandemic. This entrance test is becoming a joke. It’s time to rethink this system to help students and save education.”
Because of the delay, Jamia Millia Islamia is thinking about other ways to handle UG admissions this year. Delhi University teachers have also asked the vice-chancellor to reconsider using CUET UG for admissions.
