You can easily download the JEE Main Answer Key 2027 by following these steps:

- Enter your application number and date of birth/password.
- The answer key will appear on the screen.

After downloading the answer key, candidates can compare their answers to see their probable scores. If you think any answers in the answer key are wrong, you can raise objections with proof. Experts will check these objections, and any necessary changes may be made in the final answer key.
How to Challenge the JEE Main 2027 Answer Key
After you download the provisional answer key 2027, you can challenge any answers you think are incorrect. Here’s how:
- Go to the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on “Challenges Regarding JEE Main Answer Key 2027.”
- Log in using your application number and password.
- The answer key will show the question ID and correct option ID for both papers.
- If you find an error, select the question IDs you want to challenge.
- Click “Save your claim” and then “Next.”
- The challenged question IDs will show on the screen.
- Upload any necessary documents in PDF format to support your claim.
- Pay a fee of ₹200 for each question you challenge. You can pay using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
Remember, this fee is refundable if your claim is accepted. Claims without payment won’t be considered.
NTA will release a separate provisional answer key after each session of JEE Main 2027. The exact dates will be announced through an official notice. The provisional key and recorded responses are generally displayed before the result for a limited period.

Yes. The candidates can raise a challenge within the period stated by NTA. They have to choose the appropriate question ID and option ID and submit the proof in PDF form along with the payment of processing charges. Those challenges which are not paid will not be considered.
Following the pattern observed in the recent past, four marks are given to candidates for every correct answer in both MCQs and numerical value questions. For every wrong answer, one mark is deducted, but for no answer given, there is no marking at all.
Match the answers in your response sheet with the provisional answer key. Multiply the number of correct answers by four and subtract one mark for every incorrect answer:
Probable score = (Correct answers × 4) − (Incorrect answers × 1)
Don’t add or deduct marks for unanswered questions. Your estimate may change if NTA revises or drops any question while preparing the final answer key.
The NTA has not officially announced the challenge fee for the JEE Main 2027 exam. According to the most recent official procedure, each challenged question carried a charge of ₹200. This amount was non-refundable even if the challenge was successful.
Yes. The NTA will release the sheet having the recorded responses of the candidate, together with the attempted question paper and provisional answer key. The candidates must download the same within the given period, as it won’t be given after that.
