• The degree of non constant polynomials is zero.
• A polynomial for one term is called a monomial.
• A polynomial for two terms is called a binomial. 
• A polynomial for three terms is called trinomial
• A polynomial for degree one is called linear polynomial
• A polynomial for degree two is called a quadratic polynomial.
• A polynomial for degree three is called a cubic polynomial.
