NEET 2025 : Application Form

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the NEET 2025 application form on its official website. Candidates who submit their application form by paying the required fee before the deadline will be eligible for the application correction window, allowing them to make necessary changes.

NEET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, make sure you meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Nationality: Indian Nationals, Foreign Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, and OCIs.
  • Age: You must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025. There is no upper age limit.
  • Qualifying Exam: You must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English from a recognized board.
  • Qualifying Marks:
    • General category: 50%
    • OBC/SC/ST candidates: 40%
    • PWD candidates: 45%
  • Attempts: There is no limit on the number of attempts for the NEET exam.

How to Fill the NEET 2025 Application Form

Step 1: Registration

  1. Go to the official NTA NEET website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.

  2. Click on “Fill Registration Form” for NEET UG 2025.

  3. Select "New Registration" and read the instructions carefully.

  4. Enter the required details, including:

    • Candidate’s Name
    • Mother’s Name
    • Father’s Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Category
    • Gender
    • Nationality
    • Persons with Disability
    • Identification Type
    • Identification Number
    • Mobile Number
    • Email ID
    • Password
    • Security Pin

Step 2: Fill Out the Application Form

You’ll need to provide the following sections:

Personal Details

  • Candidate’s Name
  • Mother’s and Father’s Names
  • Gender
  • Category
  • Date of Birth
  • Nationality
  • Persons with Disability
  • Minority Category: Yes/No
  • Identification Type
  • Identification Number
  • Place of Birth

Language and Exam Center

  • Choice of Medium of Question Paper: Choose from English, Hindi, Gujarati, and others.
  • Choice of Examination Centre: Select two cities in order of preference.

Academic Details

For Class 10:

  • School Name
  • Year of Passing
  • Percentage

For Class 11:

  • School Name
  • Year of Passing

For Class 12:

  • School Board
  • Year of Passing

Address Details

  • Permanent Address: Your long-term address.
  • Correspondence Address: Use your permanent address or provide your current address.

Parent/Guardian Details

  • Qualification
  • Occupation
  • Annual Income
  • Dress Code: Yes/No

Step 3: Upload Required Documents

Before starting the application, have the following documents ready for upload:

  • Scanned Photograph: Recent (not older than 3 months) with your name and date below.
  • Scanned Signature: In black ink on a white background.
  • Thumb Impression: In black ink on a white background.
  • Class 10 Passing Certificate: Scanned copy.
  • Address Proof: Documents showing your permanent and current addresses.
  • Citizenship Certificate: To verify your nationality.

Step 4: Pay Application Fees

Candidates must pay the application fee through various payment methods (SBI/Syndicate/HDFC/ICICI/Paytm via Debit/Credit Card/Net-banking/UPI).

Step 5: Print Confirmation Page

Once you apply, a confirmation page will appear. Keep this page and proof of payment for future reference. You don't need to send it to the NTA.
