Important points to remember (Exam Day Tips)

The NEET 2026 exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode with multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours (180 minutes).
The NEET 2026 exam will consist of 180 questions. These questions will be divided among Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with 45 questions each in Physics and Chemistry, and 90 questions in Biology (45 Botany, 45 Zoology). All 180 questions are mandatory, meaning there are no optional questions to choose from.
Each correct answer carries 4 marks, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
The exam will be available in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and regional languages.
The paper is divided into three sections – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with each subject having two sections (A and B).
The exam will be conducted for a total of 720 marks.
