NEET 2027 : FAQs

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is the only national level medical entrance exam in India for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and other medical courses. After the implementation of NMC Act, now AIIMS and JIPMER admissions are also done through NEET.

Many students have questions about NEET 2027 — here are the answers to all your important questions.

Q: In which mode will NEET 2027 be conducted?

A: NEET 2027 will be conducted offline (pen-paper mode) with answers to be filled on OMR sheets.

Q: Will NEET 2027 be conducted twice a year?

A: No, this exam is conducted only once a year.

Q: How many times can one attempt NEET 2027?

A: There is no limit on the number of attempts, you must be 17 years of age or above.

Q: Who conducts NEET 2027?

A: National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts this exam.

Q: Can I appear for NEET 2027 if I have taken a gap year between 11th and 12th?

A: Yes, you can.

Q: What should be the minimum age?

A: Must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the exam year.

Q: What is the minimum eligibility?

A: 12th is mandatory with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, and at least 50% marks for General (40% for OBC/SC/ST).
