Final Tips for NEET 2027 Applicants
Do not leave NEET 2027 registration to the very last minute, as you may face difficulty with it due to heavy website traffic, delay in payment, and/or problems while uploading the document.
Have scanned copies of all the documents ready before you start filling in the application form. Make sure to check your name, date of birth, category, and educational particulars before you submit the form.
However, most importantly, consider the dates of NEET 2027, mode of examination, fees, and examination pattern tentative until an official notice is released by NTA.
NEET UG 2027 is the national entrance test for undergraduate medical admissions in India. Your score gets you into MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses, and some nursing and allied health programs too.
Probably May 2027. Going by past years, May 2, 2027 (the first Sunday of May) looks likely. But NTA hasn't confirmed anything yet, so treat this as tentative.
The National Testing Agency (NTA). It handles everything: notification, registration, admit cards, and results, all through neet.nta.nic.in.
Online only, at neet.nta.nic.in. Registration is expected to open in February 2027. You create an account, fill the form, upload your documents, pay the fee, and download the confirmation page. Don't touch links from any other website or social media. NTA won't accept applications from anywhere else.
Yes, but only during the correction window (expected in March 2027). And only for fields NTA allows, so it's not a free edit pass. Once you submit and freeze the correction form, you likely won't get another shot. If your correction changes your fee category, you may have to pay extra.
Keep these ready before you start: Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, Aadhaar or another NTA-approved ID, a recent passport-size photo, a postcard-size photo (if asked), scanned signature, thumb impression, and category, PwD, or nationality certificates if they apply to you. Exact sizes and formats will be in the information brochure.
Online: debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Wait for the payment status to update before trying again. If payment goes through but no confirmation page shows up, contact the NTA helpdesk instead of paying twice.
Aadhaar is the standard ID, but NTA accepts other valid IDs too. The information brochure will list exactly which ones qualify.
Maybe, during the correction window, if NTA includes exam city in the editable fields. One thing to remember: picking a city never guarantees you'll get a centre there. NTA allots centres based on availability.
Not announced yet. Based on 2026 fees, expect around ₹1,700 for General, ₹1,600 for EWS/OBC-NCL, ₹1,000 for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender, and ₹9,500 if you're applying from outside India. Processing charges and taxes come on top. NTA may revise these for 2027.
