CAT 2025 : Answer Key

CAT 2025 exam will be conducted in computer-based mode (CBT) in three sessions on 30 November 2025 (Sunday). The provisional answer key and response sheet of the candidates will be released through login 4‑6 days after the completion of the exam, approximately in the first week of December. This timeline may change as per the process

Candidates can download their answer key and response sheet, which will indicate their chosen answers and correct answers, from which they can estimate their probable score. If any question is found to be wrong, candidates can raise objections within the objection window (i.e. 3rd-4th week) with a fee. 

The final answer key will be released by the third-fourth week of December after reviewing all the objections by the examination authority. After this the result can be declared in the first or second week of January 2026.

How to download CAT Answer Key?

• Visit the official website (iimcat.ac.in).
• Login with your CAT Login ID and Password.
• Click on the ‘Answer Key / Response Sheet’ link.
• Download the answer key and response sheet of your shift.

If you have objections against one or more questions, go to ‘Objection Form’, select the question number, enter the reason and pay the required fee (approximately ₹1,200).

The amount is refundable if the objection is accepted. Objections will not be accepted after the final key is released.

• You can estimate your private score through the answer key and response sheet.
• The right to file objections allows candidates to have transparency in the examination process.
• The final result will be based on the score determined on the basis of the final answer key.
