CAT 2026 : Answer Key
The CAT 2026 will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) on Sunday, 29th November 2026 in three sessions. After the completion of the test, the IIMs publish the answer key and candidate's response sheet.
You can access both answer key and response sheet via your login id approximately four to six days after the test i.e., in the first week of December 2026. This duration may vary somewhat, based on the flow of process.
Importance of the Answer Key
Answer key reveals the correct answers and the response sheet reveals your answers. With the help of both these keys, you are able to get an approximate idea of your possible marks even before your actual result comes.
In case you have any objection on a particular question or its answer, you can object at that time. Objection window opens up towards the latter part of December and a fee is required for each objection raised.
The concerned authority will evaluate all the objections and finally publishes the answer key approximately in the third or fourth week of December 2026. The result is evaluated on the basis of the published final answer key.
