CAT 2026 : Result

CAT or Common Admission Test is your key to the MBA course and many other PG courses in management offered by the best colleges in India including IIMs. The CAT 2026 test will probably take place on Sunday, November 29, 2026, and will be conducted in three slots in a computer-based mode. IIM Indore might conduct the test in 2026.

The result of the CAT 2026 test is expected in the last week of December 2026. Your scorecard can be downloaded only from the CAT website, iimcat.ac.in.

How to Download CAT 2026 Result

Just follow these easy steps for downloading your score card:

• Open the official CAT website i.e., iimcat.ac.in.
• Goto the 'Login' option.
• Enter the user id and password.
• Download your score card from the available options.
• Download your score card in PDF format and print out the same.

Only online downloading of score card is possible in case of CAT 2026. The score card will contain the following information:

• Name and registration number
• Category and photograph
• Section-wise score
• Total score
• Section-wise percentile
• Overall percentile

Please note that percentile holds much higher importance than the raw score. As the CAT exam consists of three slots with different question papers, the IIMs adopt a normalization procedure to maintain fairness of scoring across all slots.

After CAT Exam Result - What Next?

Post CAT result, do not waste any further time and follow these important steps:

• Apply to the concerned IIMs and b-schools as per your score.
• Refer to the cutoffs of the concerned institutes.
• Prepare yourself for the forthcoming rounds like WAT, GD, and PI.
• Collect all the necessary documents for verification.

Usually the rounds of short listing and interviews take place between January and April 2027. So make good use of the period after the result.
