GATE CS 2023 : Exam Pattern
GATE CSE Exam Pattern 2023 consists of 65 questions of 100 marks in total. The questions asked will be one of the three types - Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) and Numerical Answer type Question (NAT).
About 72% weightage (of the total marks) is given to GATE CSE Core syllabus, 15% to General Aptitude and 13% to the Engineering mathematics.The important topics from which the questions are asked are - Digital Logic, Algorithms, Theory of Computation, Computer Organizations etc. Candidates appearing for the GATE CSE paper can also choose to appear for Mathematics (MA) as their second paper.
