GATE EE 2025 : Notification

IIT Roorkee has shared the GATE 2025 notification on its official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. If you’re planning to apply, make sure to check the GATE 2025 brochure. It has important information about registration dates, eligibility requirements, exam dates, and more.

The application form correction window will open soon, so keep an eye out for that. The late registration period ended on October 11, 2024. Before applying, double-check that you meet the eligibility criteria. The GATE exam will take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, and it will be a computer-based test (CBT).

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national exam organized by IIT Roorkee along with seven other IITs: IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IISC Bangalore. They work together for the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. For more details, you can check the GATE 2025 notification table below.

GATE 2025 Organizing Institute (OI) 

GATE 2025 Organizing Institute is IIT Roorkee. The institute is responsible for the overall coordination among the eight administering institutes. Previously, IIT Roorkee conducted GATE exam in 2009, 2017, and 2025. GATE exam is conducted jointly by IIT Roorkee and seven IITs (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and IISc Banglore). One of these administering institutes is designated as GATE Organizing Institute (OI).
