GATE EC 2025 : Exam Centres

The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has released the list of exam cities for GATE 2025. You can find this list in the GATE 2025 brochure and on the official website. When applying, you must choose your preferred exam cities. You can select up to three cities. The last date to apply is October 3, 2024, without a late fee, and October 11, 2024, at 11:59 PM with a late fee.

The registration link is still open. You can also change your chosen exam cities during the correction period, starting November 6, 2024, for an extra fee.

GATE EC 2025 Exam Centres for Indian Candidates:

GATE EC 2025 will be held at around 200 exam centres in different cities. The eight zonal centres are IISc Bangalore, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee.

GATE EC 2025 Foreign Candidates:

There will be no GATE EC 2025 exam centres outside India. Foreign students must select centres within India. You will need to arrange your own travel and accommodation.

How to Change Your Examination City

To change your GATE 2025 examination city, follow these steps:

Visit the GOAPS website.
Log in using your Enrollment ID or Email Address, Password, and Captcha.
Click on “Change Examination City.”
After selecting your new city, pay a fee of Rs 500.

Choosing Your Examination City

When picking your exam cities, you can choose three from the provided list:

Your first and second choices must be from the same GATE zone.
Your third choice can come from any GATE zone.

If you select a city in a specific zone as your first choice, your second choice must also be from that zone. However, you can pick your third choice from any listed city.

Keep in mind that, due to operational needs, the GATE Committee may add or remove cities and assign a city that may not be one of your choices.
