Primary sector is also known as agriculture and related sector. In primary sector we produce a good by exploiting natural resources. Since most of the natural products we get are from agriculture, dairy, fishing and forestry. Therefore this sector is also called agriculture and related sector.

Secondary sector is also known as industrial sector as most of the development of the sector is related to industries. 

The activities in tertiary sector generates services rather than goods, that is why it is also called the service sector. Tertiary activities are not involved in the direct production of goods instead they mainly provides services to a society.

Services sector contributes highest to the GDP of the country but it is the primary sector which employees almost half of the country’s population.

Extracting sugarcane is an activity of primary sector however making sugar from sugarcane is an activity of secondary sector. 

The tertiary or service sector is the third of the three economic sectors . It consists of the production of services instead of end products. Construction of houses is an activity of secondary sector and rest are of tertiary sector.

Animal husbandry is the branch of agriculture concerned with animals that are raised for meat, fibre, milk, eggs, or other products. Therefore it is an activity of Primary sector and rest are of secondary sector.

Underemployment is hidden in contrast to someone who does not have a job and is clearly visible as unemployed. It is also defined as the under-use of a worker due to a job that does not use the worker's skills, or is part time, or leaves the worker idle. Hence, it is also called Disguised Unemployment.

During 1973-74, GDP share by the primary sector was the largest. It also was the highest job provider during this period. 

Tertiary sector has grown the most during 1973-74 and 2013-14 and is now the largest producing sector. Its contribution towards gdp of the country is also increasing.
