Tertiary sector has grown the most and is now the largest producing sector. However primary sector is still the highest job provider as it provides jobs to about half of the population. 

In any country basic services such as hospitals, educational institutions, police stations, courts, municipal corporations, etc. are required. All these come under the tertiary sector , therefore this sector is becoming important in India. 

Greater the development of the primary and the secondary sectors, more would be the demand for services such as transport, trade, storage, etc. Therefore we can say that development of agriculture and industry leads to development of services. 

Increase in income leads to the development of tertiary sector or services sector as with the increase in income demand for the services will increase which in turn will lead to the development of tertiary sector. 

Demand of services like eating out, tourism, shopping, private hospitals, schools, etc. These things are mostly demanded by the big cities. Thus it is the urban area which is affected most by the development of tertiary sector. 

Information and communication technology has risen the most with development of tertiary sector which is the third of the three economic sectors of the three-sector theory.

Small shopkeepers, repair persons and transport persons barely manage to earn a living and yet they perform these services because no alternative opportunities for work are available to them. Therefore these groups are affected most by the development of the tertiary sector. 

The primary sector includes all those activities the end purpose of which consists in exploiting natural resources. Among these only farmer belongs to the primary sector who is engaged in exploiting the natural resources. 

Teacher provides service to the people in an economy and therefore belongs to tertiary sector and rest three belongs to primary sector.

A vendor often manufactures inventoriable items and then sells those items to a customer,  therefore a vegetable vendor belongs to secondary sector and rest three belongs to tertiary sector.
