Leg phase of growth is initial stage of growth during which growth takes place slowly. Bacterial growth just after addition into nutrient medium occurs slowly. So, it is in leg phase of growth.

In predation and parasitism one species is benefitted while other is harmed. Parasite obtain food from host by harming them.

E.coli in human intestine obtain their food from undigested food remains and do not harm so, it is not an example of parasitism in which one organism is harmed but other is benefited.

Age pyramids having declining population is referred as contracting pyramid or orion pyramids or Urn pyramids. This kind of pyramids is formed by population having more old aged population than young age population.

Commensalism is interaction in which one species is benefited by other is neither benefited nor harmed. Orchids growing on mango tree do not harm the mango plants but get shelter.
