Testis is located in scrotal sac out of the abdominal cavity. Sperm formation require 1-2 degree less temperature than normal body temperature. The process of sperm formation is called spermatogenesis.

The corpus spongiosum is the mass of spongy tissue surrounding the male urethra within the penis. These tissues get filled with blood during copulation.

Graafian follicle changes into corpus leteum as egg is released from it during ovulation. Corpus leteum release hormone called androgen.

Cryptochidism is an abnormal condition in male reproductive system in which scrotum does not descend outside the abdominal condition. The males may be not able to produce fertile sperm.

Only one Prostate gland is present in male reproductive gland. They release fluid medium in which sperms can move and also provide nutrition to sperms.

Bidder’s canal is present in male reproductive system. It is meant for passage of sperms during coitus.

The glandular tissue of each breast is divided into 15-20 mammary lobes which contain cluster of alveoli. Cells of alveoli secretes milk.

Ovary is the primary sex organ of female reproductive system in human beings. Egg is released from one of the ovary each month. It also release hormone.

The secondary sex organs in a female are fallopian tubes, uterus, and vagina.

The testes are located outside the abdominal cavity in a pouch called scrotum. The scrotum helps in maintaining the low temperature of testes necessary for spermatogenesis.
