Each testis contains about 250 compartments called testicular lobules. Each testicular lobule contains one to three highly coiled seminiferous tubules that produce sperms.

The inner lining of uterus is called endometrium. It gets ruptured at the beginning of menstrual cycle and comes out through vagina along with blood vessels. It is formed in expectation of pregnancy every month.

Large pillar like cells in the germinal epithelium of the testis that support and nourish developing spermatozoa are Sertoli cells.

Seminiferous tubules of testis open into the vasa efferentia through rete testis. Rete testis is network of tubules inside the testis to store the sperm temporarily.

Leydig cells or interstitial cells are present between seminiferous tubules. Leydig cells secrete testosterone and other androgens hormones in human males.

A mature ovarian follicle is called Graafian follicle which consists of antrum and follicular cells.

The covering of testis is a bluish white fibrous tissue sheath called tunica albuginea. Tunica albuginea also projects inside testis to form a thick incomplete vertical column called mediastinum.
