The mons pubis is the rounded eminence, made by fatty tissue beneath the skin, lying in front of the pubic symphysis. A few fine hairs may be present in childhood; later, at puberty, they become coarser and more numerous. The upper limit of the hairy region is horizontal across the lower abdomen.

Spermatogenesis occurs in the seminiferous tubules of the testes. The seminiferous tubules are lined by germinal epithelium which are made up of germ cells and sertoli cells.

Semen passes from the ejaculatory duct to the exterior of the body via urethra. The urethra passes through the prostate glands and ends at the external urethral orifice.

Large pockets of erectile tissue in the penis allow it to fill with blood and become erect to increase in size and become turgid during copulation.

The middle layer of uterus is thick and muscular structure called myometrium that help in exhibiting strong contraction during delivery of the baby.

Development of fetus start from zygote divisions to form embryo. The embryo undergoes multiple divisions to form blastocysts that arrange into layers. The primary layers are ectoderm, mesoderm and endoderm.

Scrotal sac contains testes in male. Scrotal sacs are connected with the abdominal cavity by inguinal canal which is a passage in the anterior abdominal wall which in man conveys the spermatic cord.

The vagina is a elastic, muscular tube that connects the cervix of the uterus to the exterior of the body. It is located inferior to uterus and posterior of the urinary bladder.

Fallopian tube extends from the left and right superior corners of the uterus to the edge of the ovaries. It end in a funnel shaped structure called Infundibulum which is covered with small finger like projections called fimbriae.

The wall of uterus has three layers of tissues. The outer most thin layer is called perimetrium followed by thick layer of smooth muscles, myometrium and innermost glandular tissue is endometrium.
