Today, the private sector by itself and also in joint partnership with the public sector, has started playing a very important role  to improve the efficiency of thermal stations

Sanitation have a large impact by  improving the quality of life of its people of the country.

Infrastructure provides supporting services in the main areas of industrial and agricultural production, domestic and foreign trade and commerce.  Roads play the vital role.

There are three other sources of energy which are commonly termed as renewable sources — solar energy, wind energy and tidal power.

Because renewable energies are not burned like fossil fuels, they do not release pollutants into the atmosphere and provide a cleaner, healthier environment. Sources of renewable energy are found everywhere in the world and cannot be depleted.

Some of the main problems that India’s power sector faces today are (i) Lack of finance (ii) Inefficiency in production and (iii) Inefficiency in distribution

The National AIDS Control Programme (NACP), launched in 1992, is being implemented as a comprehensive programme for prevention and control of HIV/AIDS in India.

The Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) aims at correcting the imbalances in the availability of affordable healthcare facilities in the different parts of the country.  The scheme was approved in March 2006.
