The emergence and development of Human Geography is related to 18th century.

Mohenjodaro, Babylon, and Egypt are all renowned ancient civilizations, known for their significant contributions to history, culture, and architecture. Mohenjodaro was part of the Indus Valley Civilization, located in present-day Pakistan. Babylon was an ancient city-state in Mesopotamia, located in present-day Iraq. Egypt, of course, was home to one of the world's earliest and most enduring civilizations, centered around the Nile River. Russia, while rich in history and culture, is not typically associated with ancient civilizations on the same scale as the other options listed.

Regional approach of Human Geography was followed in colonial period.

"Human geography is the study of mutually changeable relations of active human and unstable earth." Ellen Semple gave this definition.

In simple words, physical geography can be described as a branch of geography which deals with processes of natural environment of the Earth.

‘Idiographic’ denotes description.

The idiographic approach is the opposite of the nomothetic approach. Rather than focusing on generalities, the idiographic approach focuses on individual differences, qualitative data, and individual experiences. In other words, it is the study of individuals rather than groups. The term "idiographic" comes from the Greek word "idios" which means "private". 

The physical environment for such societies becomes the “Mother Nature”

Quantitative revolution is not an approach in Human Geography.

Quantitative revolution:

• Marked by the use of computers and sophisticated statistical tools.
• Laws of physics were often applied to map and analyse human phenomena. This phase was called the quantitative revolution.
• The main objective was to identify mappable patterns for different human activities.

Ritter is not a French geographer. He was a German physicist who discovered the ultraviolet region of the spectrum and thus helped broaden humanity’s view beyond the narrow region of visible light to encompass the entire electromagnetic spectrum from the shortest gamma rays to the longest radio waves.
