Putting the value in the above formula, we get

R_s= 25 +5 =30 Ω

Using Ohm’s law we get

V = I R

Where,

V is the potential difference,

I is the current

R is the equivalent resistance of the combination.

Putting the values in the above relation, we get

60 V=30 Ω× I

On solving for I, we get
