The average power dissipated in a circuit consisting only of inductors or capacitors is zero.

1. The time required for the current flowing in the LR series circuit to reach its maximum steady state value is equivalent to about 5 time constants or 5T.

2. This time constant τ, is measured by T = L/R, in seconds, where R is the value of the resistor in ohms and L is the value of the inductor in Henries.

1. At a higher frequency, the charge on the capacitor plates will vary more rapidly, so (dq/dt) will be higher resulting in an increase in the instantaneous current (i = dq/dt)

2. This means lower capacitive reactance i.e, less resistance.

In ac circuit of capacitance, the current from potential is Forward.

A radio frequency choke is an air-cored coil where as an audio frequency choke is iron cored.
