The climate of DRC is hot and humid because it lies in the equatorial from where it receives direct heat from the sun and thus the rate of evaporation also becomes faster so the water of ocean get evaporated quickly.

The Democratic Republic of Congo has a hot and wet climate because it lies in the equatorial region.

These regions are hot and receive heavy rainfall throughout the year. As there is no particular dry season, the trees do not shed their leaves at the same time. Thus, the forests always appear green. This is the reason they are called evergreen forests.

Ebony, coconut, rubber, oil palms, mahogany, rosewood, rubber and cinchona are some of the commercially important trees that grow in the tropical evergreen forests.

The Congo rainforest is famous for its wildlife, which include forest elephants, okapi, hippos, leopards, chimpanzees, and bonobos, among many other species.

Equatorial forests trees are much taller than most trees in the rainforest and their crowns are exposed to the direct sunlight.

Some trees such as the kapok may reach heights greater than 200 feet (61 meters).

The DRC is bordered by 9 countries: Angola, Burundi, the Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.

The Congo River system runs through the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, western Zambia, northern Angola, and parts of Cameroon and Tanzania, according to National Geographic.

Coal, iron ore, Diamond, Natural gases, manganese ore, Bauxite, limestone and thorium are the major mineral resources of India.
