India: Science and Technology Test 76

PSLV-C37 was the 39th mission of the Indian  (PSLV) program. PSLV-C37 successfully carried and deployed a record 104 satellites. It was launched on 15 February 2017 by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) from the Space center at Sriharikota at Andrapradesh. 

• Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose invented the Crescograph, an electrical instrument that could measure the growth of a plant.
• It was capable of magnifying the motion of plant tissues to about 10,000 times of their actual size and, in doing so, found many similarities between plants and other living organisms.

• The Internet's first search engine, the Archie system, was created in 1989 by the student at the McGill University in Montreal, Canada, Alan Emtage.
• Archie is considered the original search engine and a lot of the techniques that Emtage and other people that worked with him on Archie came up with are basically the same techniques that Google, Yahoo! and all the other search engines use.
• Archie helped users find files in the directories of public hosts that they might never have otherwise discovered.

• EcoBot III is a lightweight self-sustaining robot that runs off human waste, using it to produce electricity necessary for performing its cleaning task.
• The main objective of the project was to create a self-sufficient machine with an onboard fluid circulation that would collect energy from its environment and get rid of its own waste.
• The robot is only about 6 kg and consists of the ingestion, artificial digestion and solid waste excretion mechanism.
