News item dated January 2018: India unveils its fastest Supercomputer.

India unveiled its fastest Supercomputer 'Pratyush,' an array of computers that can deliver a peak power of 6.8 petaflops. One petaflop is a million billion floating point operations per second and reflects the computing power of a computer. According to an official statement by the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pratyush is deemed to be the third fastest supercomputer in the world which is fully dedicated to weather and climate research. It will also make an Indian supercomputer jump from the position of 300s to the 30s in the Top 500 list, a respected international tracker of the world's fastest supercomputers.

The machines will be installed at two government institutes: A 2.8 petaflops power facility called 'Mihir' at the National Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecast, Noida and a 4.0 petaflops HPC facility at IITM, Pune. With the new Supercomputer, it would be possible, for the first time, to map regions in India at a resolution of 3 km and the globe at 12 km.

Including Pratyush and Mihir, India now has five supercomputers in the list of Top 500 most powerful supercomputers in the world. Three of these facilities are dedicated to running simulations and models for weather prediction at different national labs, while the fourth belongs to the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the fifth to a software company.

Directions for questions: Read the paragraph carefully and identify the factual mistakes.

News Item Dated February 2018: Virat Kohli crosses 900 points in ICC ODI player rankings.

Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli added another feather to his record-breaking spree after the International Cricket Council announced in February 2018 that he had crossed the 900-point mark in the one-day International rankings after he achieved the milestone in Tests a year earlier. He became the seventh batsman in cricket history to do so. The highest in the table is the Australian great Sir Don Bradman, who has 935 points to his name. Only four batsmen before Kohli have managed to cross the 900-point mark previously in both ODIs and Tests.

He is only the second batsman after South Africa's batsman AB de Villiers to have achieved the double goal of 900 points in both Tests and ODIs. His aggregate is the best in ODIs, since Dean Jones' tally in 1991. Kohli has thus moved ahead of Brian Lara in the all-timers' list, having also overtaken him in the all-timers' Test list last month.
