In Nitrous oxide (NO),

Number of electrons of N = 7

Number of electrons of O = 8

∴ Total number of electrons of NO = N + O = 7 + 8 = 15 electrons 

So, NO has odd electrons (15 electrons).

Green chemistry is that branch of chemistry in which chemicals of daily needs are produced by using such existing knowledge that neither use toxic chemicals nor emit such chemicals into the atmosphere. Thus, it helps in reducing the chemical hazads alongwith development activities.
