Autonomic nervous system (ANS) is an involuntary part of the nervous system that controls the involuntary activities of various body viscera. It consists of sympathetic nervous and parasympathetic nervous system. Sympathetic nervous system is responsible for a quick action. Parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for the decrease in one's heartbeat, etc.

Processes of respiration and diffusion are found in plants. Plant hormones play an important role in control and coordination of plant activities. Plants do not have a nervous or muscular system to control and coordinate the body movements. They use chemical signals to convey information from one cell to another.

Gibberellins or gibberellic acid causes stem elongation. Treatment of plants with gibberellic acid causes the plants to grow taller and helps to control dwarfness.

Nastic movements are non-directional. Photonastic movements are due to the change in the intensity of light. These are also known as sleep movements. For example, flowers of primrose open in the morning and close at night.

Paratonic movement is defined as the movement of whole or a part of a plant due to influence of an external stimuli. These are further of three types: tropic, tactic and nastic movements.

Abscisic acid (ABA) is a plant hormone. ABA functions in many plant developmental processes, including seed and bud dormancy, and stomatal closure.

Gibberellins help break the dormancy of seeds. The developing embryo releases gibberellins that act on a layer of cells on the outside of the endosperm, stimulating these cells to release the starch-digesting enzyme amylase.

Auxin is a plant hormone produced in the stem tip or shoot apex that promotes cell elongation.

Hormonal control is a slower means of communication than nervous control. But it can potentially reach all cells of the body, regardless of nervous connections, and it can be done steadily and persistently.

Pancreas is located in the upper left area of abdomen, behind stomach and near duodenum, the first section of small intestine. It does not occur in pairs as the the glands given in other three options.
