Charaka, an Ayurveda physician, during BC 300 added his own easy-to-understand compilation of Agnivesa Samhita. He renamed it as Charaka Samhita. Because of his efforts, he is sometimes referred to as the Father of Indian Medicine.

Ahmad Shah Abadali invaded India so many times with a view to make financial gains and realise his political ambitions. He carried with him a lot of money and gifts from India which were utilised by him for increasing his military strength and improving its organisations. The immediate cause of his invasion on India was that he was invited by Shah Nawaz Khan, the Governor of the Punjab, to undertake an invasion of India. That invitation fitted very well into the ambitious plans of Ahmad Shah Abdali.

The battle of Panipat was fought in the 16^th century between forces of Akbar and Hem Chandra Vikramaditya. Hem Chandra Vikramaditya was the king of Delhi and had conquered Delhi and Agra. To reclaim territories, Akbar marched to Panipat along with Bairam Khan to whom Agra and Delhi belonged. There both the armies fought. Hemu was defeated in the battle and was captured and subsequently beheaded.
