    The battle of Panipat was fought in the 16th century between forces of Akbar and Hem Chandra Vikramaditya. Hem Chandra Vikramaditya was the king of Delhi and had conquered Delhi and Agra. To reclaim territories, Akbar marched to Panipat along with Bairam Khan to whom Agra and Delhi belonged. There both the armies fought.
