In all the options, other than option 2, the second letter comes 2 places before the first letter, and the third letter comes one place before the second letter in alphabetical order.

In all the other options except (1), the letters are arranged in reverse alphabetical order, one after the other.

The group of letters is made by writing two consecutive letters and then skipping the next two, and then again writing the next two consecutive letters.

In all options except (4) , a group of four letters has been arranged in reverse alphabetical order but the positions of the middle two have been interchanged.

In all the other options, the letters are arranged in reverse alphabetical order and every alternate letter is skipped.

In all the options except option 2, four letters are arranged in alphabetical order, but the order of the second and the third letters has been interchanged.

The rule here is as follows.

Third Letter = Position of first letter + Position of second letter

G(7) = B(2) +E(5)
U(21) = G(7) + N(14)
O(15) = D(4) + O(11)

The above rule is not followed in option 4.

In the group, 1^st and 3^rd letters are two consecutive letters written in reverse alphabetical order. The middle letter is the 1^st letter + 3.

KNJ: J + 1 = K; K + 3 = N
ZBY: Y + 1 = Z; Z + 2 = B

RUQ: Q + 1 = R; R + 3 = U
HKG: G + 1 = H; H + 3 = K

Hence, ZBY is odd one out.

In all options, other than option (2), the letters are written in the reverse alphabetical order.

In all options, other than option (1), the 1^st and the 2^nd letters are two consecutive letters. The third letter is 2^nd + 3.

But, this pattern is not followed in option (1) and hence, this is different from the group.

In these groups, it is about writing four consecutive letters and arranging them in order as DEFG is in sequence.
Similarly, XYZA is also in sequence.

But, RSUV is not in sequence.

So, this is the odd one.

In this question, four consecutive letters are arranged in some random order in all the options, except option (2). In option (2), the letters are not consecutive letters in the English alphabet. Therefore, it is the odd one out.

In all options other than option (4), the 2^nd letter is formed by moving 4 letters backwards.

Hence, option (4) is the odd one out.

S + 1 = T
T + 5 = Y
Y + 1 = Z

Similarly,
W + 1 = X
X + 5 = C
C + 1 = D
And
I + 1 = J
J + 5 = O
O + 1 = P

But this pattern is not followed in 'BCLM'.
B + 1 = C
C + 9 = L
L + 1 = M

So, BCLM is different from others.

Validating options, we get

U V W → 1 2 3, which does not follow the pattern.
