There was a Scottish king named Robert Bruce. He fought many battles and won them. But once he was defeated and to save his life he ran from the battlefield, he hid himself in a cave. He was upset because he had never been defeated before. In the cave, he saw a spider which tried to make it to the roof with a web. It made six attempts but slipped down every time. The king got interested and watched the spider carefully. He was surprised to see that the spider did not lose heart but tried again and again. At the seventh attempt, the spider was successful. This event gave courage and new strength to King Bruce. He fought again and this time harder than before. He was successful in making his country free. So, one should try, try and try again.
