Solution

AB = 6 cm and AB = 2 BC
⇒ 6 cm = 2 BC
⇒ 6/2cm = BC
⇒ 3 cm = BC
Now, AB = 6 cm, BC = 3 cm
If AC = 2 cm, then AC + BC = 5 cm < 6 cm
i.e. AC + BC < AC, which is not possible.
[∵ Sum of two sides of a triangle is greater than the third side.]
