The figures are transposed in the same way as in the example at the top.

Other than in (B), the designs are made up of a square, a triangle, a rectangle, a right angle, and a line. In (B), there are two squares but no rectangle.

The shape is rotating anticlockwise, but the shaded area remains at the top and the shaded segment of the centre of the shape is alternating.

The type of shapes is irrelevant to the question, and the number of shapes is increased by one each step of the series.

At each step the shape at the top of the previous diagram moves into the box and the shape at the bottom takes its place.

Half the number of shapes making up the question shapes are shaded, as is the case in suggested answer A.

The clock shape (displaying 3 o’clock) is first rotated by 360 degrees, then by 180 degrees, and finally by 90 degrees.
