The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will soon release the application forms for NDA 1 and NDA 2 2026. Candidates wishing to appear for the NDA 2026 exam must be aware of the application process, dates, and required documents. The NDA exam offers a golden opportunity to pursue a career as an officer in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

The NDA & NA (I) 2026 notification will be released on December 10, 2025, and the application deadline is December 30, 2025. The exam will be held on April 12, 2026 (Sunday) and will last for one day. Candidates can apply on the UPSC's official website, upsc.gov.in. The form link will be activated as soon as the notification is released.

How to Fill Out the NDA 2026 Online Application?

Pre-requisites for online application

Before filling out the application form, candidates must have the following information ready:

  • Personal Information: Name, date of birth, parents' names, gender, nationality, etc.
  • Educational Qualification: Class 10 and 12 information.
  • Contact Details: Address, email, and mobile number.
  • Age Limit: 16 to 19 years.
  • Eligibility: Candidates who have passed or are currently pursuing Class 12.

NDA 2026: Required Documents

Candidates must upload the following documents to the form:

  • Passport-sized photo and signature
  • Photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN, Passport, Driving License, etc.)
  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and admit card

NDA 2026: NDA One-Time Registration (OTR)

OTR registration is mandatory to fill out the NDA application form. Once registered, candidates can use the same credentials for all UPSC exams.

  • OTR is open year-round.
  • Previously registered candidates can apply directly to the NDA.

Information to be filled in during OTR registration:

Personal information (name, gender, date of birth, parents' names)

  • Education details (board roll number)
  • Mobile number and security question

After completing the OTR, candidates can login at any time to view their information, apply, and track their status.

NDA Application Form 2026

The NDA application process consists of two parts: Part 1 and Part 2.

NDA Application Form 2026 Part 1

Page 1 – Candidate Registration:

  • Fill in your personal information (name, date of birth, Aadhaar, nationality, marital status)
  • Contact Information (Address, Email Address, Mobile Number)

Page 2 – Branch Preferences:

  • Select your preferred branch: Army, Navy, or Air Force
  • Rank your preferences from 1 to 4
  • Indicate if you are a soldier/military school student or a child of a JCO/NCO/Other Rank.

Page 3 – Details Verification:

  • Check all details carefully as changes are not possible after submitting the form.

Page 4 – Registration ID Generation:

  • After submitting the form, the system will generate a Registration ID.
  • This ID and personal details will be sent to the candidate's email.

NDA Application Form 2026: Part 2

Step 1 – Application Fee Payment:

  • Online: Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking
  • Offline: Cash at SBI Bank Branch (via system-generated pay-in slip)

Step 2 – Exam Center Selection:

  • Select three preferred exam centers.
  • Seat allocation will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Step 3 – Document Upload:

  • Passport-sized photo and signature.
  • Photo ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, etc.)
  • File size: 20 KB – 300 KB

NDA 2026: Final Submission

  • Accept the declaration before submitting.
  • After submission, you can view and print the application form.
