NDA 2025 Eligibility: Age Limit, Qualification & Other Requirements

The National Defence Academy (NDA) Exam is open to both male and female candidates. To be eligible, candidates must meet certain age, educational, and physical requirements. Below are the detailed eligibility criteria for NDA 2025.

 NDA 2025 Age Limit 

📌 For NDA 1 2025: Candidates must be born between July 2, 2006, and July 1, 2009.
📌 For NDA 2 2025: Candidates must be born between January 2, 2006, and January 1, 2009.

🔹 Important: Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

 NDA Eligibility for Female Candidates 

The age criteria for female candidates are the same as for male candidates.

✅ Who can apply?

• Unmarried women born between July 2, 2005, and July 1, 2008.
• Candidates must meet the physical fitness requirements.

Are Girls Allowed in NDA?

Yes! The Supreme Court of India ruled in 2021 that female candidates can apply for NDA. Since then, several women have successfully cleared the exam and joined the academy.

 Educational Qualification for NDA 2025 

The educational requirements vary based on the academy you are applying for:

🔹 Can I apply for NDA while in Class 12?

Yes! Candidates who are currently appearing for Class 12 exams can apply for NDA. However, Class 11 students are not eligible.

 NDA 2025 Physical Standards 

Candidates must meet specific height, vision, and overall fitness standards. Below are the key requirements.

✅ Both boys and girls can apply for NDA 2025.
✅ Class 12 students are eligible, but Class 11 students are not.
