Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Entrance Exam will be conducted in two phases – Phase 1: 13 December 2025 and Phase 2: 11 April 2026. In this article, we will give you complete details of application process, eligibility criteria, required documents, and important dates.

JNVST Class 6 Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Student must be born between 1st May 2014 to 31st July 2016.
- Educational Qualification: Student must have passed class 5 from a recognized school.
- District Based Application: Student must apply from the same district where he/she is studying.
- Rural Students: At least 75% of seats are reserved for students from rural areas.
- Passing the exam is mandatory.
How to fill JNVST Class 6 Application Form 2026?
- Visit the official website navodaya.gov.in.
- Click on the link “Class 6 Navodaya Admission 2026”.
- Fill in the required details like name, date of birth, school details etc.
- Upload the scanned documents.
- Check all the details and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- Note down the application number and take a print out of the confirmation page.

JNVST Class 6 Reservation Policy
- 75% seats for rural areas
- Reservation for SC/ST in proportion to population
- 27% reservation for OBC as per central list
- At least 1/3 seats for girls
- Reservation for differently abled children as per GOI norms
