NIOS Admission 2019-20 Form

Application Form must be filled on or before its last date. Before filing the application form, candidates must ensure his / her eligibility.

Candidates can also fill the application form after its last date by paying the late fee with the application form.

Why Should You Apply Enrollment in NIOS?

There are so many students who are good in one subject but little bit poor in other. For example a candidate is very good in calculations but he has less interest in learning by cramming. He always get good marks in maths but fails in any other subjects resulting FAIL in final exams.

Open schooling provides direct exams of class x (if you have basic elementary education) or xii (if you have passed the exam of class x or equivalent). Educational Qualification (Eligibility) for Admission in NIOS

How To Apply for New Admission (step-by-step)

If you are facing trouble for applying admission in open school, you can follow this process. Here we have explained the complete step-by-step process for getting NIOS online admission 2018-19 session.

1. Open Internet browser and visit: www.sdmis.nios.ac.in

2. Read the instructions and click to Resister button.

3. Now read the instructions and click to Proceed button to continue.

4. Now select the State and then Identity type. Enter the id number of selected Identity type.

5. Now select the Course (Secondary for class 10 & Senior Secondary for class 12) and click on Submit to continue.

6. Now the application form will appear with four sections:

• Basic Details
• Optional Details
• Subject Selection
• Study Centre Selection

7. Basic Details is further divided into 3 sections:

• Basic Details
• Address
• Other Information

8. Fill all the information and click on Generate OTP. You will receive separate OTP on mobile as well as on email address, both is required to validate with the OTP.

9. After validating the OTP, enter the details about address and details about Social Category, etc.

10. In the Other Information section you have to upload the copy of your photo, identity document and other documents like last marks sheet, Cast certificate, etc.

11. Now fill the optional details and go for selections of Subjects.

12. Select the Study Centre (You can chose maximum three preferences).

13. Review the application form for corrections, if required.

14. If the filled form is completed and is found OK.

15. Then you need to make payment right now or click on Pay Later.

16. If you want to pay right now, select the appropriate Payment Gateway and make payment.

17. That’s it. You have successfully applied for your enrollment in NIOS

How to Pay the Fee

Fees for On-line Admission : There will be three options for the payment of fee:

• The fee can be deposited On-line through Credit Card /Debit Card/Net Banking
• Through Bank Draft of any nationalised bank only in favour of Secretary, NIOS payable at respective Regional Centre of NIOS in case of Streams-1 & 2 and payable at NOIDA only in case of Streams-3 and 4 received within a week of Online registration.
• In case admission is done through Common Services Centres, fee could be paid via Electronic Wallet of CSCs.
• NIOS will not be responsible in case the request for admission is not considered on account of short payment deposited with the AI or when no seat is available with the AI.
