Assam HSLC Result 2023 Declared : Overall Pass Percentage at 72.69% - Check Details

The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) has declared Assam HSLC result 2023 today. Students who appeared for Class 10 exams can check their results at HSLC (10th) Result  And Mobile App. The overall pass percentage of Class 10 students this year is.

A total of 4,22,174 students appeared in Class 10 exams including 1,90,765 boys and 2,24,559 girl students. Of the total appeared, 1,59,356 girls passed exams and 1,42,524 boys. The pass percentage of girl students stood at 70.96% while boys recorded 74.71.

In Assam HSLC exams 2023, 4 students including Ishrat Fatiha, Lucky Devi Choudhury, Manmita Sarma, and Aditya Anupam Konwar. 

Assam HSLC Toppers 2023: Chirang District Tops

Among districts, Chirang recorded the highest pass percentage of 88.68%. Dhubri region came at the last position with 63.35%.

This year's Assam SEBA HSLC exams were marred by numerous paper-leaks and cancellations. English and general science papers were allegedly leaked and cancelled leading to protests, arrests and rescheduling. There were also strong rumours of the geography paper leaking, later dismissed by the education minister Ranoj Pegu.

Last year, the overall pass percentage stood at 56.49%. A total of 65,176 students passed in first division and 99,854 in second division. The boys outperformed girls by recording 58.80% while 54.49% girls had passed exams. Raktotpal Saikia of St Mary's High School, North Lakhimpur was the Assam HSLC topper with a score of 597.
